Making our first rose-hip marmalade

It is a very time consuming procedure to make rose hip marmalade , but it definitely worth it. First you have to cut both ends of the fruit, then you have to cook it till you can mash it. Then it is necessary to filter it so you get rid of the seeds and hair-like little things (that is 2/3 of the whole thing). We had more or less 3kgs of rose hips, and ended up with not even a litre of marmalade, but very delicious marmalade.
